Magnification

‘Magnification’ is a hand embroidered work. Stitched with stripes of different weights of silk which have been hand-dyed from off whites through grey and to black. The stitches are laid down in a circular rhythm. It appears to me to be like the magnified light found in a lighthouse, where the light is constantly revolving and radiating outwards.
