‘Chance’ and ‘Halocline’ are two of the artworks created for an exhibition at 12 Hay Hill, Mayfair, London. The exhibition opened early March 2020 just before the first corona virus lockdown. The work was never seen but hung on the walls until I was able to collect it.
‘Chance’ is about life. In the back of my mind when I was working on this piece I was thinking about the gambling machines in Las Vegas. The banks of machines that flash, whirl, make sounds to attract you to take a chance. Life is about taking a chance. Sitting still is never an option.
