Halocline

‘Chance’ and ‘Halocline’ are two of the artworks created for an exhibition at 12 Hay Hill, Mayfair, London. The exhibition opened early March 2020 just before the first corona virus lockdown. The work was never seen but hung on the walls until I was able to collect it.

‘Halocline’ is a graded colour embroidery. This work is based on the different salt levels in the sea. If you took a slice of the sea to measure the salt levels at different depth, this is how I imagine it to be.
